Graduate Electrical Engineer DescriptionTo work within a multi-discipline technical team to design, qualify and commercialise a range downhole completion technologies. As a member of a small group of specialists the primary focus is the mechanical, electrical and software development of downhole systems. The Graduate Engineer will use their knowledge gained from University and practical experience to develop and support engineering in the creation of new concepts to meet the customer’s requirements. The Graduate Electrical Engineer will be required to assist in the design and preparation of surface and downhole electronic systems, componentry and firmware under supervision. Assist in the scheduling of resources and in mentoring less experienced/qualified colleagues. Development would be over a number of years working closely with our experienced engineers through on-the-job training, formal training courses and hands-on project work. Design Engineer (Aberdeen) DescriptionTo work within a multi-discipline technical team to design, qualify and commercialise a range downhole completion technologies. As a member of a small group of specialists the primary focus is the mechanical component of new and developing systems. However, flexibility and initiative are also key elements of the role. The Design Engineer will use their expertise to develop and adapt the existing portfolio of products and assist in the creation of new concepts to meet customer requirements. The Design Engineer will be required to assist in the preparation of detail and assembly drawings as the business requires and under supervision assist in the scheduling of Draughtsperson resources and in mentoring less experienced colleagues. Petroleum Engineer (Aberdeen) DescriptionWorking within a multi-disciple team with petroleum engineering, production technology and completion design capabilities to evaluate and demonstrate production enhancement performance of Tendeka’s advanced completion technology portfolio. The Petroleum Engineer will support Tendeka’s fibre optic business and FloQuest software commercialization by providing subject matter expert support on fibre optic DTS/DAS applications and interpretation, use of FloQuest, and generate revenue by providing DTS/DAS interpretations for customer installations, and providing FloQuest training to customers. The Petroleum Engineer will work with the software development team and support FloQuest enhancements by generating algorithms for incorporation in the software, and recommendations on software features and interfaces. The Petroleum Engineer will use commercial wellbore flow simulation and nodal analysis software to quantify the production benefits of inflow control and advanced completion technology applied to client’s asset and provide the front-end engineering design basis for the well completion design. The Petroleum Engineer will be expected to evaluate the suitability of application, optimize the completion design, and demonstrate the value of Tendeka technical solutions. Further to this the Petroleum Engineer will engage with specialists within the client operator to further their understanding of the technology performance and provide guidance to aid the client to model wells with advanced completion equipment effectively.
